What Technically Stupid actually is

The domain is a joke we decided to keep. The site is not a company, not a personal blog, and not a place with a staff page.

Technically Stupid writes about technology the way most people actually meet it: documentation that assumes you already know the secret handshake, products that advertise a feeling, and phrases that sound like strategy until you read them twice.

What we publish

  • Explainers — how a thing works, in the order a human asks
  • Tech theater — starter templates, keynote copy, the slide that is not the product
  • Field notes — ordinary, public mistakes. The searchable kind

What we will not publish

Names. Faces. Inboxes. Founder stories. Anything that reads like a tour of someone’s machines. Unlabeled affiliate links. If a post is ever paid for, it will say so in the first screen.

If you wanted a guru, there are thousands. If you wanted a person to follow, this is the wrong URL. If you wanted the writing, it is on the blog.
